मै अपने परवरदिगार यानी अल्लाह पाक से अपने तमाम गुनाहो कि माफ़ी मांगता हूँ। मैंने जो गुनाह जान-बूझकर किये या भूल कर किये, छिप कर किये या खुल्लम खुल्ला किये हर गुनाह से माफ़ी मांगता हूँ, और तौबा करता हूँ मैं उस गुनाहों से जिन्हें मैं जानता हूँ और उस गुनाहों से भी जिन्हें मैं नहीं जानता। ऐ मेरे अल्लाह बेशक़ तू ग़ैब की बाते जानने वाला और ऐबों को छिपाने वाला है और गुनाहो को बख़्शने वाला है और गुनाहो से बचने की ताक़त और नेकी करने की क़ुव्वत अल्लाह ही की तरफ है जो बहुत बुलंद मर्तबे वाला है।

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ رَبِّىْ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْۢبٍ اَذْنَبْتُهٗ عَمَدًا اَوْ خَطَا ًٔ سِرًّا اَوْ عَلَانِيَةً وَّاَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ مِنَ الذَّنْۢبِ الَّذِیْٓ اَعْلَمُ وَ مِنَ الذَّنْۢبِ الَّذِىْ لَآ اَعْلَمُ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوْبِ وَ سَتَّارُ الْعُيُوْبِ و َغَفَّارُ الذُّنُوْبِ وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِىِّ الْعَظِيْمِؕ
میں اپنے رب یعنی اللہ پاک سے اپنے تمام گناہوں کی معافی مانگتا ہوں۔ میں ہر اس گناہ کی معافی مانگتا ہوں جو میں نے جان بوجھ کر یا غلطی سے، چھپ کر یا کھلے عام سرزد ہوئے ہوں، اور میں ان گناہوں پر بھی توبہ کرتا ہوں جو میں جانتا ہوں اور ان گناہوں پر بھی جن کو میں نہیں جانتا ہوں۔ اے میرے اللہ بے شک تو غیب کا جاننے والا اور عیبوں کو چھپانے والا ہے اور گناہوں کو معاف کرنے والا اور گناہوں سے بچنے کی طاقت اور نیک کام کرنے کی طاقت اللہ کے پاس ہے جو بہت بلند ہے۔
